Yesterday was all about the lovey feels and it got me to thinking about my love for working out. I love that I just did something good for my body, I love the way working out makes me look, and I love that by working out your body releases endorphins literally making you happier. What's not to love right!?.......Well there are some workouts I do.... love to hate. These workouts to me are the ones that I don't necessarily look forward to doing, while doing them I think why am I doing this to myself, and then after am completely worn out. These are also the workouts I feel like I get the most bang for my buck so I notice bigger changes when I push myself and do these workouts.

This coming month will mark Eric's and my 5 years of marriage!!! Woohoo!! While I was trying to decide what I could do for him for Valentines/our anniversary that would be meaningful, I couldn't stop thinking of how fast the years have gone by and about our amazing son who is growing up too quick. I keep telling Ty to slow down and not grow too fast but he's just not listening!! I just want to stop time and take in and hold on to all the precious details and moments we have made so far. I knew I needed something unique to represent the love and appreciation I have for the life we've built together which is why I chose this beautiful Jord watch made of natural Walnut wood. What I love so much about this cool watch and why I chose it for Eric is because first, I felt it looked very classy and could easily be worn with his suit to a client meeting or at home more casually playing around and throwing Tyson in the air. Second I love that it's made from wood! Up until now, I had never seen a wooden watch before and I thought it just was such a unique watch. Lastly it has a high end look without the high end price tag. I love that the cost is very budget friendly which makes it perfect for anyone looking for a great Valentines gift. You can find Eric's watch HERE (Make sure you check out the women's watch section too HERE. I'm dying over the Dark Sandalwood and Smoke and the Dark Sandalwood and Emerald watches....hint hint babe haha)

Every year when back to school and the New Year roll around, I get a little overly excited about school supplies and planners. Even when I was a little kid I loved getting new pens, notebooks, highlighters, and really any other supply you can think of. I feel like Meg Ryan from You've Got Mail, " I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address."

For those that know me, know I love to host and have people over for dinner. I also love going to someone's house where we all bring a side dish (I guess like a potluck) because I love finding new recipes and trying out people's favorite meals. Whether you're headed to a tailgate, having a large group gathering, or just looking for a healthy munchy for your kids after school, I partnered up with Chobani to give you an AMAZING healthy dip that only needs three ingredients! Let's be honest, we all want to make something that tastes great, is not only easy time wise, but with as little ingredients as possible....and healthy can't leave that part out!
|Not to worry there was no double dipping in the taking of these photos ;)|

This past weekend I had the privilege of attending an amazing luncheon hosted by The B Firm PR called Erica's Table of 20. The purpose of this luncheon was to bring together a group of 20 individuals to network and inspire each other. It was so great to be able to connect with so many like minded individuals in Atlanta that I wouldn't have met otherwise. I met everyone from other bloggers, a producer for BET, to a single mom running an amazing candle company. I'm serious y'all need to check out her candles here! I have the Cranberry Marmalade one and it smells divine. These would be perfect for obviously your home but also in housewarming gift baskets, for clients (which you can customize with your own label), or as just because gifts.
Everything about this event was great from the decor, to the delicious food from Nieman Marcus, and I CANNOT leave out the Sprinkles cupcakes lol because I don't know anyone that hasn't liked a Sprinkles cupcake (Just saying)... I have to say though that from the whole experience probably my favorite part was the positive encouraging message Ashley Jernigan from the B Firm shared.

I am still in awe from the results of my first NPC competition! Going into the competition I really tried to mentally be in a place where no matter what the results were, I made it to the stage. I already won. I'm a different person now than I was when I started. No matter what the judges decided, I was happy and confident with myself and that's truly what's important. For me to mentally be in this place is a big accomplishment in and of itself for me. The fact that I actually got 1st place in my division still blows my mind!
After completing my first prep and having stepped on stage and gotten that first experience under my belt, I wanted to share my top 10 things I've learned or gained a new appreciation for throughout this process.
